This time I'm talking about KAT-TUN's Fumetsu no Scrum, the song that invading my mind since the first time I heard it.
It's so darn catchy. Bless my ears. And obviously I'm gonna talk about the dance~

My dance team has been dancing to this song for our most recent performance, and we'll be dancing to this again for the last time next August before taking another song to cover.

It's clear from the start that the song and the dance have this upbeat mood.
The only thing that makes the dance lovely to see is that we have to actually enjoy the upbeat tempo of the dance step.
Being too serious while giving all your power out will not do the justice

Go with the flow, no need to be extreme precise with the movements. Well, at least that's what I thought.
Just look at Uepi and Koki! They may not have the power like Junno or Maru's precise moves or Kame's sultry look graceful moves.
But they 'complete' the group in this song, and it's lovely to see.

Oh, and that diagonal dance blocking is very nice tho (right gif).

This dance is complicated enough for beginners.
For example, the hand movements the moments after this gif ^
They key is that you shouldn't lose your concentration, or you'll ruin it at the end of the first chorus.

And here comes the tricky part of this dance

The tempo of the footsteps is kinda 'hard to see' for anyone practicing to this song for the first time.
To make things harder, you have to be in sync with your group at this part. It's hard but it's nice to see.

Well, with enough hardwork anyone can dance to this perfectly!

Okay, so I'm still hoping for KAT-TUN's comeback from their 'recharging period' as I'm writing this post.
So many things happened this year. . .

(In continuation of my post at Tumblr here)

Okay, so I got my copy of Are You Happy? concert!

Yay!

But, I haven't watched it all 'till the end. I've, actually, watched Nino's solo only. . .
because of the preview of this concert! (yes, I blame you SCP for the glorious concert preview)

ANGSTY NINO IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS Y'ALL

I couldn't give any thoughts about the dance right now because I'm still learning it little by little right now.
Hell, even right now, me and my dance group are still learning Kokoro no Sora (with all of its complexity) for our next performance.
And then Are You Happy? came out, bringing all the glitter and angst without warning.

Well, I hope I can dance to this song as soon as possible after I'm done with Kokoro no Sora (and KATTUN's Fumetsu no Scrum)

Stay tune and See ya!

So, now, I'm talking about the dance step from this badass song, TRAP.
Me and my dance crew have danced to this song, twice, for last year performances.
And I could say that this song has a badass feel to it!
As soon as the song came in, we automatically let out inner 'gangsters' out, lol. We couldn't help it.

^
yep, right at this point to be exact.

The dance step itself isn't that complicated. MMSE is way more complicated, even though the tempo for TRAP is faster. TRAP swings between slow movement and fast movement.

The main charm for this song for us is its semi-robotic movement. You have to know when to slow down and stop at the right tempo, and make your movement looks like, well, a robot.

And we came to the realization that if we don't let our power out and we're not in sync, it will looks kinda off. Because in this song, each of Arashi members doesn't have that much solo dance steps.

Well, that's it from me now. I'll see you again on the next post. Ciao!

PS: If you ask me which part that I like the most from this song, the answer is the third gif.

So, I forget to tell you all who read this post that I'll use my DW account for dance reviews.
Any dance from JE groups, any songs from JE groups.
I'll try to review them, in my *cough*unique*cough* way.
Because I'm a cover dancer and I always practice new steps, new songs,
I'd like to share what I have in mind about them.

If you have any request for me to review a particular song from any group(s).
Just tell me!

So, I re-watch V6's Feel Your Breeze just now for dance exercise purpose.
And I should say that the foot movements are insanely tricky, while the hand movements. .not so much.
There's so many. . .how should I say this. . .offbeat steps. Like dance steps that are not going along with the tempo of the music. And the speed of the movements swing between slow and fast.
That are the tricky part.

So tricky yet so much fun. It really helps my friend and I to know how to deal with offbeat steps like that.

I'll go deeper in this review in the future, once I get to master this dance, lol.

Finally I make my own DW account after my friends recommended me to do so.
Yeah!
Let's have some fun!
